The Festival Hall has a range of spaces available to hire, from a theatre that seats up to 400 to a lounge bar available for smaller more intimate events suitable for up to 100 such as Open Mics and Quizzes.
We do not permit externally operated bars.
We do not permit externally operated Box Offices.

Specific Rate Cards for The Rose Room Lounge, Rehearsal Studio and Council Chamber will be available later in early 2026. For details on these specific spaces, please contact the Programming Team.
Technical Capabilities
The Festival Hall currently has a very limited technical capability as standard, with very basic lighting and sound provisions available.
We do not currently have a complete Technical Specification for the Venue following a full rigging refurbishment and install – however we are in the process of drawing one up to publish imminently.
