Chicago

Chicago
20-23 November 2019.

Its the roaring 20’s and in downtown Chicago, Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly have found themselves in Cook County Jail under the watchful eye of the jail matron Mama Morton.

Chicago tells the story of murder, greed, corruption, fame, and showbiz (and ‘All That Jazz’). Alongside a chorus of merry murderesses all in jail for committing crimes of passion, Roxie and Velma cunningly try to convince the courts of their innocence by competing with each other for the front page of the tabloids and the limelight. Did their lovers really have it coming, and will they convince the world that they are innocent?

With toe tapping music and choreography based on the original staging by Bob Fosse, Chicago brings a little bit of the West-End to Petersfield. Join us for an evening of live entertainment presented by an award-winning group. You won’t be disappointed!
